Can you believe it’s been sixteen years since Arnie was brought to the brink of a nervous breakdown by a class of troublesome toddlers? In fact it’s been long enough between films that the children from the first movie now probably have kids of their own. Despite such a long break, the studio has decided that now is the perfect time to bring out a follow up and the trailer for Kindergarten Cop 2 has arrived online.
In what has to be one of the most unexpected (and unnecessary) sequels of the last few years (which is saying something) Dolph Lundgren will follow in the massive shoes of Arnold Schwarzenegger as a Detective who goes undercover as a teacher. The trailer points to practically the same plot line, right down to the relationship with a fellow teacher, with no doubt a modern technological twist.
Thankfully cinema audience won’t be subjected to Kindergarten Cop 2 as this is a firm straight-to-DVD title. If you feel the need to support Lundgren in what appears to be his hour of need, US residents can catch the film on DVD from 17th May 2016. A UK date has not yet been set, upsetting I know.

This family oriented kid movie is just what I wanted to watch with my grand kids that I don’t have to preview before they watch it. I love Dolph Lundgren. I am glad he felt that he could work with anyone even kids. LOL Thanks Universal for making the sequel.
