She’s had herself a busy week, appearing at the BAFTA awards in London, and then on the red carpet for her festival favorite Maggie’s Plan in Berlin on Monday, but Julianne Moore has hit the headlines again, after it was revealed that she is possibly in talks for the female villain role in the sequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service.
The Hollywood Reporter are reporting that Moore is set to play the villain in Kingsman 2, which once again will be directed by Matthew Vaughn. Taron Egerton, who will next be seen in Eddie The Eagle, will return to play the lead in the film, though it is not thought that Colin Firth will return for obvious reasons.
No more news on the exact character that Moore will play, but of course, we’ll keep you posted.
