With the Kickboxer reboot not even in cinemas as yet, filmmakers are already setting to work on a sequel to the project. The sequel will be called Kickboxer: Retaliation, and it will follow on where the upcoming Kickboxer: Vengeance left off.
The sequel will feature Hafthor Julius Bjornsson (Game Of Thrones’ The Mountain). Dimitri Logothetis is co-writing and directing the movie.
Returning for the sequel will be Jean Claude Van Damme and Alain Moussi, both of whom featured in the first movie, which we’re hoping to see at some point this year. Shooting on the sequel will kick off in May of this year for a release in 2017.
