A new Fantastic Beasts behind the scenes featurette has been released from the folks at Warner Bros. Pictures, as part of the 2016 Harry Potter celebration.

The film stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, Dan Fogler, Colin Farrell, Jenn Murray, Jon Voight, Carmen Ejogo, Gemma Chan and Faith Wood-Blagrove. You can check out the Fantastic Beasts behind the scenes featurette below, but first, here’s the synopsis…

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them has a worldwide release date set, in 3D and IMAX, for November 18, 2016. The film is still in production with Harry Potter director David Yates at the helm, with David Heyman, producer of all of the ‘Potter’ movies and the more recent Paddington Bear, producing.

The film will be based on the source novel of the same name by J.K. Rowling, with Steve Kloves adapting for the big screen. The book was published back in 2001 with the work being credited under the pseudonym “Newt Scamander”, who will be played by Eddie Redmayne in the forthcoming movie.
