She’s currently wowing the world with her performance in The Danish Girl, for which she is nominated for an Academy Award, and she delighted in last year’s Ex Machina, but later in 2016 Alicia Vikander will star alongside Matt Damon in the fifth Bourne movie.
The actress opened up about her role in the film to TheWrap.
“I’m not doing the conventional action but I’m very action-driven in this film,” Vikander said. “But it’s not in the way most people would think.”
The film seems to be on a much grander scale to what the actress has experienced so far.
“I came from Sweden where it’s like 30, 40 people, and here on ‘The Danish Girl,’ doing a British film, it’s 100, and then you end up on these sets, and I know on Monday or Tuesday we’re going to have 1,600 extras just in one scene,” she said.
That scene will probably take place in Las Vegas, where the production is currently shooting.
