Legendary film composer Hans Zimmer is set to provide the score for Christopher Nolan’s next film Dunkirk. The news was revealed via Hans-Zimmer.com earlier on today. The post also confirmed that the film will start shooting in France this coming May.
The collaboration is Nolan and Zimmer’s sixth after working in The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception and Interstellar.
Hans Zimmer confirmed to Hans-Zimmer.com he is set to score Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film DUNKIRK. The film is set for release on July 21, 2017. Shooting should begin in may 2016 in France. As excepted on a Christopher Nolan project, Hans already started working on a few ideas very early on. This marks the 6th collaboration between Hans & Christopher Nolan, after the Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception & Interstellar.
Tom Hardy, Kenneth Branagh and Mark Rylance will lead the cast of the movie, which will revolve around the famous World War II evacuation.
Emma Thomas produces the film, which will be shot in 65mm and IMAX at the real life locations.
