Quentin Tarantino is out and about promoting his upcoming western The Hateful Eight, and while on the press tour, the director commented on his very popular Kill Bill series. The director, who has often said a third film in the series was always a possibility, says that it could still happen.
The first two movies, shot back-to-back, were released in 2003 and 2004, and were huge hits with both fans and Tarantino himself.
Speaking to What The Flick, the director said that a third movie is “a possibility — [I’ll] stop short of saying a probability.”
Tarantino is still great friends with Uma Thurman, who played The Bride in the films, and a third film would feature the character, along with daughter of Vivica A. Fox’s Copperhead, the first of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad who was offed in the first movie.
Speaking of The Bride, Tarantino added:
“I wanted her to have this much time for peace,” he says. “I wanted her to have some time with her daughter and not have to be in the genre-machine. She could actually enjoy her life for a while.”

The Hateful Eight opens in US cinemas on Christmas Day, with UK audiences receiving the film in January.
