Lucasfilm release three Force Awakens retro posters to celebrate the release of the first Star Wars movie in 12 years.
The new Star Wars movie is now less than three weeks away, and we’re all starting to get pretty excited. Well the folks at Lucasfilm and Disney are aceing it in terms of their promotion, and today upped that by one more level by releasing these three cool The Force Awakens retro posters.
It’s almost like it’s 1977 all over again with these cool designs, which are very similar to those used to promote Star Wars: A New Hope nearly forty years ago.
These Force Awakens retro posters have obviously been released for the US market (judging by the release date), and are sure to become collectors items in the future.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released in the US on December 18th and the UK on December 17th. The film is directed by J.J. Abrams and stars Harrison Ford, Andy Serkis, Anthony Daniels, Kenny Baker, Peter Mayhew, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Oscar Isaac, Max von Sydow, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Lupita Nyong’o, Crystal Clarke, Pip Anderson, Christina Chong, and Miltos Yerolemou.
