Vin Diesel has revealed that a fourth movie in the Riddick universe is on the way, as well as a TV series based on the film franchise too.
Diesel announced that Merc City will be the name of the TV series which Pitch Black‘s David Twohy is set to start writing. Twohy will set to work on the fourth movie in the series next month.
The planned TV show will follow “the Mercs and Bounty Hunters of the Riddick universe”, according to Diesel who updated through his Instagram account.
No news on when we can see Riddick 4, but it will be a little while off as Diesel is all set to start work on an eighth Fast and Furious movie, and then xXx3.
Here’s his update from Instagram.
