A brand new trailer for the upcoming comedy Sisters, which stars Amy Poehler and Tiny Fey has just been released by the folks over at Universal. The film comes from Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore, from a screenplay by Paula Pell.
The film is about two disconnected sisters who are summoned home to clean out their childhood bedroom before their parents sell the family house. Looking to recapture their glory days, they throw one final high-school-style party for their classmates, which turns into the cathartic rager that a bunch of ground-down adults really need.
The film also stars Maya Rudolph, Ike Barinholtz, John Leguizamo, Dianne Wiest, John Cena and James Brolin.
Sisters opens in UK cinemas on December 12th, and the US on December 18th, which puts it right up against Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Clever bit of placement by Universal?
Here’s the new trailer.
