We’ll be getting an X-Men Apocalypse trailer very soon

With a big release like Star Wars: The Force Awakens, you’d expect many a studio trying to tag a trailer onto each print, and while we already know that Marvel/ Disney will debut the first trailer for Captain America: Civil War onto the December 17/18 release, it looks like Fox has plans too.

According to Collider, we’ll see the first trailer for next year’s X-Men: Apocalypse before the first Star Wars sequel too.

Producer/ writer Simon Kinberg told the site: “Our first trailer will be on Star Wars: The Force Awakens”,

“It’s our first thing out there so it is somewhat of a teaser but it’s certainly longer than a minute and it has a ton of cool stuff in it”.

We’d expect it online shortly after then, but it’s interesting that Fox have managed to mage this prime piece of promotional real estate. However, the studio did release the first six movies in the Star Wars saga, so we’re sure they worked something out with Disney. We’re so excited to see some actual footage from the last movie in the series that began with X-Men: First Class back in 2011.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in the UK on December 17th and everywhere else on December 18th.
