The Thor movies are two of the most successful in the Marvel universe, and now it looks like Chris Hemsworth and co. are about to venture Down Under for the next instalment, Thor: Ragnarok.
Most of the other Marvel films have shot in the UK, but Marvel Studios will head to Australia for the third film in the Thor series to take advantage of their new investment.
The Australian government have ploughed $50 million into film production, and it looks like Thor will be joined by Ridley Scott‘s Prometheus sequel Alien: Paradise Lost as part of that deal..
Thor: Ragnarok will see the hammer-wielder got up against Ragnarok, a supervillain who first appeared in Civil War #3. He is a cyborg clone of Thor.
Thor: Ragnarok will be released on July 28, 2017.
