I figure that any future Nightmare Of Elm Street film, which there is definitely going to be by the way, the person to play the role of Freddy Krueger, has to be Robert Englund. Otherwise, the face of Freddy just doesn’t look right. Well, it seems that a return to the series is definitey of the cards after Englund himself tweeted the following.
Just for the record, I will NOT be starring as Freddy in any new Nightmare projects, real or fictional

Disaster for fans of the series.
New Line are moving ahead with a new reboot of A Nightmare On Elm Street, and that film could be very loosely based on the third film in the series, Dream Warriors, which we reported on last week.
