Rachel McAdams has officially joined the cast of Marvel’s Phase Three movie Doctor Strange.
At this month’s Toronto Film Festival (TIFF), McAdams confirmed previous reports that she is to join Benedict Cumberbatch in the planned movie, which will be hitting our screens in late 2016. Scott Derrickson will direct the film, which will also star Tilda Swinton (who plays The Ancient One), and Chiwetel Ejiofor (who will play Baron Mordo).
Shooting on the film is slated to start in November and Disney will release the film in November of next year.
No official news as to who McAdams will play in the movie, as the actress didn’t elaborate further, but we’re guessing she’ll play the love interest to the title character.
More news as we get it.
