We’ve just received the very first clip from the upcoming Jeremy Irons and Dev Patel starring film The Man Know Knew Infinity, which is about to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.
Written and directed by Matthew Brown, The Man Who Knew Infinity is the true story of friendship that forever changed mathematics. In 1913, Ramanujan (Dev Patel), a self-taught Indian mathematics genius traveled to Trinity College, Cambridge, where he forged a bond with his mentor, the eccentric professor GH Hardy (Jeremy Irons), and fought against prejudice to reveal his mathematic genius to the world. The film also stars Devika Bhise, Stephen Fry and Toby Jones.
The expected release date for the film is sometime in 2016, but we’re expecting it to be the earlier part of the year than the later.
The film will make its world premiere in the Gala section of the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival.
