Cate Blanchett is being tapped to play Lucille Ball in a new biopic based on the famous entertainment icon. Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network, Steve Jobs) is in talks write the screenplay for the film, which will revolve around legendary actress Ball, who created the TV shows Love Lucy, The Lucy–Desi Comedy Hour, The Lucy Show, Here’s Lucy, and Life with Lucy.
