Angry Birds Movie: First look at Spring 2016 released animated film.
The very first images from the upcoming Angry Birds movie has debuted online courtesy of Entertainment Weekly. The film arrives in cinemas next year from Sony Pictures, in collaboration with Rovio Entertainment, the creators of the game.
The Angry Birds Movie features some great voice talent, including Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Bill Haider and Danny McBride, and is expected in cinemas around the world on May 20, 2016.
EW has more about the CGI-animated film, which is directed by Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly, from a script by Jon Vitti (The Simpsons).

“The question Rovio gets more than anything is ‘Why are these birds so angry?’” says producer John Cohen (Despicable Me). “This is the origin story for how that conflict came to exist between birds and little green piggies.”
Maya Rudolph, Hannibal Buress, Kate McKinnon, Keegan-Michael Key, Tony Hale, and Peter Dinklage also lend thei voices to the film.
