Masters Of The Universe reboot gets a ‘Marvel’ writer.
The planned Masters Of The Universe reboot has got itself a new writer. Nope, Hollywood isn’t done trying to rehash the old He-Man 1980s toys/ cartoon/ movie.
After the likes of Terry Rossio and Jeff Wadlow (Kick-Ass 2) too a pass at a rewrite, Variety reports that Christopher Yost, best known for (Thor: The Dark World, upcoming Thor: Ragnarok) will have a crack at it.
[quote_box_center]Set on the planet of Eternia, the story follows a warrior named Prince Adam who has the power to transform into the heroic He-Man. His nemesis is a villain named Skeletor who seeks to conquer a fortress known as Castle Grayskull in order to learn the secrets held within.[/quote_box_center]
The film is set up at Sony Pictures, though currently hasn’t a director or star attached. We’re trying to think of someone other than Chris Hemsworth who would boss it as He-Man… thoughts?
