Victor Frankenstein trailer’ McAvoy and Radcliffe reimagine a classic

The first Victor Frankenstein trailer has arrived. The film stars James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe in a reimagining of the classic Mary Shelley tale.
Paul McGuigan, the excellent director that brought us Gangster No. 1 and Push directs the new movie, with Max Landis at the writing table.
Here’s the synopsis:

McAvoy spoke about the tone of the film from the set of the film with Empire magazine earlier this year.
“As much as the monster is his creation, Igor is his creation as well,” explained McAvoy to the magazine. “That was quite exciting. It’s funny, the script, but also really dark, in a cool way.”
We are expecting this in UK cinemas on December 4th (pushed back from September) this year, with the US markets getting delivery on 25th November. In fact, the film starts rolling out into cinemas from October 1st with Argentina, Mexico and other South American territories receiving the film before the rest of us.
Mark Gatiss, Jessica Brown Findlay and Andrew Scott also star. There are actually three cast members from the BBC TV series Sherlock in this movie: Andrew Scott (Moriarty), Mark Gatiss (Mycroft Holmes) and Louise Brealey (Molly Hooper). Director Paul McGuigan also directed 4 episodes of the BBC’s series. Interesting, right?
