Orlando Bloom will be in Pirates Of The Caribbean 5

This weekend’s D23 Disney fan event in California, brought along many surprises, including some pretty big casting news for Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Me Tell No Tales, which has just finished up shooting in Australia.

The big news from the show was the confirmation that Orlando Bloom will be back in this movie in the the role of Will Turner, the part that he played in the earlier movies in the series (Bloom appeared in the first three movies, but was absent in the fourth film).

Brenton Thwaites, Javier Bardem, Kaya Scodelario, Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally and Stephen Graham also star in the movie, this time directed by Kon-Tiki helmers Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg.

We also got an official synopsis.

During the Expo, Johnny Depp also turned up to delight the fans in full costume as Captain Jack Sparrow.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Me Tell No Tales will be released on July 7th, 2017.
