Director of 2013’s highly impressive The Berlin File and 2006’s fun and action-filled The City Of Violence, Ryoo Seung Wan, returns for his latest action packed escapade with Veteran. The film will follow the rivalry between an unstoppable detective (Hwang Jung Min) and an untouchable young business man with links to crime (Yoo Ah In).
The trailer shows a film that looks to mix equal amounts of action, humour, fun, and social commentary too. On top of that we have a brilliant cast of some of Korea’s current greats.
Veteran is released in North America sometime in September. It stars Hwang Jung Min, Yoo Ah In, Yoo Hae Jin, and Oh Dal Su.
Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
