Last night, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom Of The Opera celebrated 12,000 performances at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End.
The cast, which included Liam Tamne (Raoul), Geronimo Rauch (The Phantom) and Harriet Jones (Christine), celebrated with what looks like an enormous cake at the end of the show.
The musical opened at Her Majesty’s Theatre on 9th October 1986 with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman in the leading roles. In it’s 29th year, the production continues to go from strength to strength.
Here’s some images from the milestone performance in the West End last night.
