He’s played the president in Olympus Has Fallen (and the upcoming sequel London Has Fallen), as well as Two Face in the awesome The Dark Knight, and now it looks like Aaron Eckhart will appear in Clint Eastwood‘s Sully, the film about pilot Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger who safely landed a plane full of passengers in the middle of the Hudson river in 2009.
Tom Hanks is playing the lead as Sully, while Eckhart will play the role Jeff Skiles, first officer and co-pilot of the Airbus A320 who helped Sully land the plane after birds hit the engines forcing it to descend.
Todd Komarnicki wrote the script for the film which will be directed by Clint Eastwood.
