Imagine for a moment that breathable air is non-existent. Humankind as we know it has all but disappeared, and two lonely engineers are tasked with guarding the last of us. This is the premise for Air, a film that features The Walking Dead favourite Norman Reedus, and is directed by that same show’s creator Robert Kirkman.

Air has gone under the radar, obviously finding itself lost amongst all the superhero and franchise tent-pole movies. The trailer, which arrived online a little while back, points to a solid science fiction psychological thriller, see yourself now:

Given that Reedus is so popular with The Walking Dead fans it’s a little odd that’s it’s taken us this long to hear about it but it looks like an interesting watch. Granted there is a smattering of Pandourum elements to the trailer (which also starred Reedus) but we can’t hold that against it.

The film also stars Djimon Hounsou and whilst arriving into US multiplexes from next Friday, 14th August, there isn’t a UK release scheduled just yet.
