The very first image of Jake Gyllenhaal in the upcoming drama Demolition, from director Jean-Marc Vallée, whose last movie Dallas Buyers Club, did relatively well.
Gyllenhaal plays an investment banker who is struggling to understand his emotional disconnect after the tragic death of his wife. He begins to tear apart his life in an effort to see where he went wrong and is ultimately rescued by a woman he meets in a chance encounter.
The first image popped up on social media earlier today.
Demolition will be released everywhere next Spring.
