Chloe Moretz has joined the cast of Bad Neighbours 2. Moretz will star opposite Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and Rose Byrne, who all return.
Chloe Moretz has joined Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne and Zac Efron in the sequel to last year’s brilliantly funny comedy Bad Neighbours (or simply Neighbors if you’re Stateside). No news on who she’ll play in the planned film though.
The first ‘Neighbors‘ movie cost around $20 million and grossed over $250 million around the world. It was also pretty darned funny. Andrew J. Cohen and Brendan O’Brien will write the script for the new movie and Nicholas Stoller will return to direct.
The plot for the film will revolve around Rogen and Byrne’s characters who enlist the help of Zac Efron to sort out a sorority house who move in next door. We can only assume that Moretz will play one of those sorority sisters.
Shooting will kick off later this year for a May 13th, 2015 release date.
Here’s a reminder of the first movie.
