Original Ghostbusters star Dan Aykroyd has revealed that he will have a cameo in the new movie.
The legendary Dan Aykroyd has revealed that he will indeed have cameo in the ‘in-production’ Ghostbusters reboot over at Sony Pictures, and he’s filming it this week. Aykroyd, who also co-wrote the original movie, will apparently appear in a scene with Kristen Wiig judging by the following tweet (which has since been deleted).

“Aykroyd is cameoing as a Cabbie in the new film and that he was on set filming his scene last night. The scene featured Kristen Wiig attempting to hail Aykroyd’s cab. Aykroyd throws out the iconic line, “I ain’t afraid of no ghosts.” And drives away with Wiig yelling something along the lines of “That’s a double negative! That means you are afraid of ghosts!”
Paul Feig is directing the new movie, which is still shooting over in Boston, with Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones playing the four new Ghostbusters.
The film will be released on July 22nd, 2016.
