Veteran character actor John C. Reilly has revealed at an Irish film festival that he has signed on with Disney for a sequel to the brilliant video game movie Wreck-It Ralph. Reilly provided the vocals for the title character in the 2012 original, and according to RTE producer Penny Hart’s twitter feed, the actor revealed the news in an interview at the Galway Film Fleadh at the weekend.

There’s not much more other than that, but considering that Wreck-It Ralph made a huge $470 million around the world, and received almost universal critical acclaim, it makes commerical sense for a sequel, despite the studio neither confirming or denying any potential future movies.
Reilly will next be seen in Cannes pleaser The Lobster opposite Colin Farrell.
