New Warcraft posters show us two new characters

New Warcraft posters: Two new character posters from the upcoming Duncan Jones directed film have been released at the San Diego Comic Con.

The Legendary Pictures panel will kick off today at 2.30pm local time at the San Diego Comic-Con, and during that panel Duncan Jones and co. will be debuting some brand new content from his upcoming Warcraft movie. Ahead of that though, Legendary have released two new character posters for the movie showing off the characters Lothar (played by Travis Fimmel) and Durotan (played by Toby Kebbell).

Warcraft is based on the famous role-playing game of the same name from Blizzard Entertainment. The film is now entering its last stages of post-production and we’re told that there are less than a dozen effects shots left to complete on the movie.

Here’s the synopsis:

The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home. So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.

Legendary and Universal Pictures will release Warcraft in 3D cinemas next summer (June 10th). Ben Foster, Clancy Brown, Daniel Wu, Dominic Cooper, Paula Patton, Toby Kebbell, Travis Fimmel, Ben Schnetzer, Ruth Negga, Robert Kazinsky and Anna Galvin star.
