image006If you’re anything like us, and haven’t been hiding from the Hounds on Dartmoor, then you may have seen the new teaser clip for the BBC’s magnificent Sherlock reinvention starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman.

It’s been debuted in perfect time for San Diego Comic Con, along with an intriguing Doctor Who trailer as well, and now we’re set to tease you even further with the details of the pre-order for the Blu-ray and DVD, which is all before they’ve even told us the air date!

This announcement comes hot off the heels of showrunner Steven Moffat’s words at the Sherlock panel event at SDCC, who told us the forthcoming special will also be shown in cinemas, pretty exciting times. The panel featured Rupert Graves (Lestrade), show producer Sue Vertue and Moffat who re-confirming that it’s a one-off episode set in Victorian London, in 1895.

There’s a load of exclusive extras yet to be announced but we figure they’ll be pretty tasty. Interestingly, we do know that this is the first instalment of Sherlock that Mark Gatiss and Moffat have written together.

SO! Pre-order the DVD and Blu-ray now, you know you want to…
