Here’s a first look at the thrilling crime drama The Secret in their Eyes starring Nicole Kidman, Julia Roberts and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
A remake of Juan José Campanella’s 2010 Oscar winning film of the same name (Elsecreto de sus Ojos), the film tells the story of a close-knit team of FBI investigators – Ray (Ejiofor) and Jess (Roberts) – and District Attorney Claire (Kidman) who are torn apart when they discover that Jess’s teenage daughter has been brutally murdered.
After searching obsessively for the elusive killer for over 13 years, Ray uncovers a lead that may finally allow them to resolve the case.
A tale of personal vengeance on the human soul, The Secret in their Eyes is written and directed by Captain Phillips director Billy Ray. In addition to its Oscar winning leads, the film also stars Dean Norris, Michael Kelly, Joe Cole, and Don Harvey.
One of the first films slated out of film and television studio STX Entertainment, The Secret in their Eyes is scheduled for release in UK cinemas on 4 March 2016.
