Hugh Jackman appears set to reprise the role of Wolverine in ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’.
The 46-year-old star, who’s in several movies in the ‘X-Men’ franchise, seems set to return to the iconic character for the much-anticipated new movie after Kika NY – a hand-made leather goods designer based in Brooklyn, New York – posted an image on Instagram that seemed to confirm his involvement.
The image, which has subsequently been deleted, was captioned: “We were just asked to make a special duffle backpack for Hugh Jackman who is filming the new X MEN movie in Montreal. We started sketching – The bag will be ready next week- we will keep you posted. (sic)”
In May, Hugh suggested the 2017 movie ‘Wolverine 3‘ would mark the last time he appears as the Marvel superhero.
He said: “It felt like it was the right time to do it. And let’s be honest, 17 years. I never thought in a million years it would last, so I’m so grateful to the fans for the opportunity of playing it
“I kind of have in my head what we’re going to do in this last one. It just feels like this is the perfect way to go out.”
