The Man From U.N.C.L.E. trailer number two: Guy Ritchie’s new film shows promise as he amps up the 60’s style.

The second promotional trailer for Guy Ritchie‘s incoming The Man From U.N.C.L.E. has just been released by Warner Bros. The movie, which is already in the can, will be released on the 14th August, and up until now the feeling for it has been a little luke warm.
The first Man From U.N.C.L.E. trailer really didn’t do it for it for me, though I thought it may transfer better to the big screen. Well, we saw the same promo in a packed theatre for the press screening of Entourage: The Movie last night, and again, it really didn;t get me going. Then this one drops. Like the track that plays towards the end of this two-and-a-half-minute promo, it feeeeelin’ good.
I love the 60’s-set action and I love Ritchie’s directing style, which is starting to come through. Humour, action and high-octane, fast-edited fun is what we want, and this delivers in spades.
Here’s the plot.

The film stars Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Debicki, with Jared Harris and Hugh Grant as Waverly.
Ritchie is currently working on a new King Arthur movie, which apparently will feature a cameo from one David Beckham.
