Production has just started on The X-Files revival series for Fox, and it seems star Gillian Anderson can’t wait to whet fans’ appetites. She’s taken to Twitter to post a suitably enigmatic image…

We’re obviously not going to be seeing the aliens in jars and other astonishing sights just yet, and with security on the set no doubt tighter than a leotard on an elephant writer/producer Chris Carter will be strenuously ensuring a lid is kept on the project.
Last time the series aired Twitter was a noise a bird or aggravating relative made. Now social media plays a bigger role than the paparazzi in breaking showbiz news. The scoop here is that Anderson and David Duchovny will have somewere comfortable to sit as the camera crew line their lenses!
The six episodes co-star Mitch Pileggi as Walter Skinner and William B. Davis as iconic character “The Smoking Man”. The truth is out there yet again in January.
