Atlantic to Pacific: Watch the trailer for Doug Aitken’s unique travel doc ‘Station to Station’

9a4d7c78Doug Aitken‘s Station To Station isn’t your standard documentary, as it features 62 one-minute films from artists such as Giorgio Moroder, Mavis Staples, Thurston Moore, Beck, Ed Ruscha and opens in the UK on 26th June.

In 2013, internationally acclaimed artist Aitken travelled on a train from New York to San Francisco over 24 days. Taking in ten stops, Aitken picked up artists, dancers, and musicians to create a series of unique “happenings”; these unique events are captured on film in the hypnotic new feature Station to Station which will be released in UK cinemas 26th June, courtesy of Dogwoof.
