Lena Dunham wants to “grow her armpit hair for summer”.
The ‘Girls’ actress – who posted a ‘Summer to-do list’ on her Instagram page – has announced that she wants to go au-naturel for the summer months.
The 29-year-old blogger wrote on the list that she also wanted to fake tan her pale complexion, – but only “from the knees down” – meet ‘Take Care’ hitmaker Drake and get a compliment from him, do “loads of charity work” and also keep her “ovaries working smoothly”.
The comedy drama ‘Girls’ – which Lena created and wrote – has caused debates within feminism in the media in the past over whether women should drop the body hair.
The star has previously said that she doesn’t shave her legs as she feels there is not much hair on her legs to shave, so she can “get away with it”.
Lena opened up in her 2014 memoir book , ‘Not That Kind of Girl: A Young Woman Tells You What She’s Learned’, and said that she thinks women feel pressure by society to shave or wax, and sometimes it’s a decision they do not decide for themselves.
In the urgent list, the American star also said she wants to: “Walk the dog through a group of cool dudes playing basketball and see what happens” and “use my feminine powers to get stuff I want like ice tea refills and basketball jerseys.”
