Harry Styles will go on to be a movie star once One Direction are over, Louis Walsh has claimed.
The 62-year-old music manager is predicting big things for the pop heartthrob and believes he will go on to be the biggest solo success from 1D.
Speaking to the Mirror Online website, Walsh said: “Harry’s a star. He will be a global star and I think he’s going to do movies. He’s got the ambition, the talent and the drive. He knows how to work the room and he’s nice to everybody.
“I’ve heard nothing but good things about Harry. Niall (Horan) will do well, but Harry is the star.”
Zayn Malik was the first member to leave 1D – also comprised of Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne – and has tentatively started work on his solo career.
Although Zayn is having the first go at becoming a solo success, Walsh is certain Harry will be the standout member and is sure his bandmates know he’s the most popular member.
Walsh – who was a judge on ‘The X Factor’ in 2010 when the group was put together by Simon Cowell and came third – added: “They have to know that, I mean come on. Every night it’s all about Harry. If they were The Rolling Stones he is Mick Jagger. He is the star, he is the focal point. But they’ve all got their roles and fan bases.”
