James McAvoy will finally shave his barnet and go bald for the role of Professor X in the in-production X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Bryan Singer, who is directing the film for 20th Century Fox over in Canada, posted a snap to social media which pretty much confirmed the news.
X-MEN: APOCALYPSE is set in the year 1983, and McAvoy’s role is said to be front and center in the sequel, which will round out the trilogy that started with X-MEN: FIRST CLASS.
Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult all return for ‘Apocalypse,’ which will release in May, 2016.
