Hemsworth and Helms Hammer It Up In First ‘Vacation’ Trailer

By the looks of it the Griswolds are at it again on holiday road but it’s Rusty Griswold and family heading to Walley World this time in the red band trailer for VACATION just released by Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema.

Written and directed this time around by HORRIBLE BOSSES and CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 duo John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein based on the characters of John Hughes, the rebooted Griswold comedy sees Ed Helms as Rusty Griswold take his wife Debbie (Christina Applegate) and their two sons James (Skyler Gisondo) and Kevin (Steele Stebbins) on a cross-country road trip to America’s ‘favourite family fun park’ Walley World.

And just like Rusty’s childhood adventure, things don’t go quite as planned.

Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo make a return appearance as Clark and Ellen Griswold whilst Leslie Mann steps in as Rusty’s younger sister Audrey. Rounding out the cast with his comedic timing is Chris Hemsworth who plays an up-and-coming anchorman who is married to Audrey.

Whilst audiences in the UK will have to wait to take their trip on November 13, VACATION will open in US cinemas on July 29. In the interim, you can check out the trailer and teaser artwork below.
