Whatever movies you have on your lists to see in 2015 – JURASSIC WORLD, TED 2, MAD MAX: FURY ROAD, STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS – take some time to add another as this new comedy from Monty Python legend Terry Jones looks absolutely hilarious.
Simon Pegg stars in ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING, a comedy about a normal man who is given the powers to do ‘absolutely anything.’ Featuring a brilliant cast in the form of Sanjeev Bhaskar, Kate Beckinsale, Joanna Lumley, Eddie Izzard, Rob Riggle, the entire Monty Python team and the late, great Robin Williams, the movie opens in cinemas in August, and we have the brilliant first trailer for you below.
[quote_box_center]Absolutely Anything follows a disillusioned school teacher (Pegg) who suddenly finds he has the ability to do anything he wishes, a challenge bestowed upon him by a group of power-crazed aliens (voiced by Cleese, Gilliam, Jones, Palin & Idle), watching him from space.
As he struggles to deal with these new found powers and the events that subsequently arise, he calls upon his loyal canine companion Dennis (voiced by Robin Williams) to help him along the way.
Mishap after mishap finally leads him to the ultimate conundrum that all men dread and at which many have failed….should he choose the girl….or the dog….?[/quote_box_center]
ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING opens in the UK on 14th August, 2015.
