There will be a sequel to last year’s TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES whether we like it or not. The first film managed to gross nearly $500 million around the world upon its release, which is a success in anyone’s eyes, especially those Hollywood executives who must be rubbing their hands with the prospect of duplicated that success with TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2.
The film is about to go into production and will hit cinemas on the 3rd June, 2016. Michael Bay, the producer on the films, has just released the first images from the flick via his official website. These three images show off two of the vehicles which will be used in the film, an include the ‘Tartaruga brothers Battletruck. Tartaruga being the Italian word for turtle, of course.
Check them out below.
TMNT2 will be directed by Dave Green (EARTH TO ECHO) Megan Fox and William Fichtner return, while Stephen Amell stars as hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones, with Tyler Perry appearing as evil scientist Bazter Stockman. Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec are writing the script.
