Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy, two of Britain’s finest young actors, are currently shooting VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN with GANGSTER NO. 1 (great movie) helmer Paul McGuigan, and today Empire have given us our first behind-the-scenes look at the new take on the Mary Shelley masterpiece.
McAvoy is playing the title role of the young scientist in the film, while Harry Potter alumni Radcliffe assumes the part of his assistant Igor.
“As much as the monster is his creation, Igor is his creation as well,” said McAvoy to the magaizing on set. “That was quite exciting. It’s funny, the script, but also really dark, in a cool way.”
You haven’t too long to wait for the movie, as it is released on October 2nd, 2015. Mark Gatiss, Jessica Brown Findlay and Andrew Scott also star. Max Landis wrote the script.
