We thought this might happen! Around about 24 hours after it first leaked (badly) BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE director Zack Snyder has shared the official trailer himself on Twitter with the amusing hashtags #NotBlurry #NotPirated, which is more than fair enough.
There’s obviously been a lot of excitement over another legendary title but this first look gives us a huge insight to where things are going. It seems that Supes, the old Man of Steel (Henry Cavill), has taken on a God-like persona and he doesn’t appear to be fighting the love. I’m assuming that our older, angry Batman (Ben Affleck) isn’t too happy with what he sees and will be out to bring back order and balance.
Snyder’s already trademark style is all over what you see here and as long as it’s a far distance from SUCKER PUNCH, it’ll still grab my attention. The trailer definitely has echoes of WATCHMEN and I’ll guess we’ll learn in just under a year how much he’s taken from source material. I’m guessing that we know one thing, with David S. Goyer on board as a writer (along with Chris Terrio), there’s going to be Batman-like redemption story because I doubt they can resist after Nolan’s truly epic trilogy.
We haven’t seen the rest of the cast yet but Batman here is in heavy armour as they appear to face off, with a deep sustaining auto-tuned booming voice, let the battle commence:

i don’t think a farm boy can become a God-like persona overnight, boyscout or not. I think it’s the people that want him to take up that mantle because he is as close to a God as one can get who is also willing to help unconditionally. I think that will be the emotional dilemma Superman is gonna face in this movie, as he watches those helpless people going through all that sufferings which with all his powers he can end very easily, but will he give into the temptation and force it upon them, or will he give them the choice to become the force of good on their own?

Thank you for a proper comment! There’s a lot of trolls about but yeah, good points.
It might also bring us up to speed with today’s tech – Definitely got a The Dark Knight vibe going on as well.
