Everyone is gearing up for the forthcoming Marvel release THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON later this month but don’t forget about DC. In an attempt to steal some of Joss Whedon’s thunder David Ayer has released a candid snapshot over on his Twitter page which introduces us to the cast of SUICIDE SQAUD.
SUICIDE SQUAD tells the story of a team of villains and anti-heroes enlisted into a titular squad in exchange for lesser criminal sentences.
The image below was taken at the first cast reading and features Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne, Jai Courtney and a whole heap more. Jared Leto, who steps into the shoes of Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger was noticeably absent.

SUICIDE SQUAD starts production later this month and will be released worldwide on 5th August 2016.
