The ‘Star Wars’ Movies Are Coming To Digital HD

Star Wars

We’ve kind of expected a big STAR WARS re-release as the new films start to be pushed into cinemas, and now it has been announced, in a deal between Lucasfilm, Disney and original owners Fox, that the original saga will hit the home entertainment platforms from the 10th of April! Yes, in-three-days 10th of April. If you, like me, own the original trilogy on VHS, the whole saga on DVD in their special edition forms and then the Blu-Rays that hit markets a little while agao, you’ll be wondering why we need to buy them again. Well, it seems that the new digital editions will come with some new ‘never-before-seen’ materials, as well as some old documentaries from time of release, and some new ‘conversations’ with artists.

We’re hearing that you’ll be able to purchase the new editions from the likes of iTunes, Google Play and Amazon. Pricing is currently unavailable.
