Fans of the nine-year running spy thriller will be flocking to the cinemas this May with the release of SPOOKS: THE GREATER GOOD. The trailer, released earlier today, reveals the return of Peter Firth as the famed Harry Pearce, as well as new characters Will Holloway (portrayed by the one and only Kit Harington) and Geraldine Maltby (played by Jennifer Ehle).
The film follows the escape of terrorist Adam Qasim (Elyes Gabel) from MI5 custody, and the subsequent blame placed on Harry Pearce. Subdued into resignation, Harry disappears one night off a bridge and into the murky river Thames, to seemingly never be seen or heard from again.
Holloway, a former agent, is bought in from Moscow to uncover the dreadful truth – that Pearce is alive, and even worse, a rogue agent.
Under the direction of Bharat Nalluri – known for his work on the original SPOOKS franchise – SPOOKS: THE GREATER GOOD was filmed in the famed Pinewood Studios in London, and on location in Moscow, Russia, and the concrete jungle of Berlin – where, it seems, more and more spy films are being shot in… AGENT 47, anybody? Have a look at the trailer and two new teaser posters now:
SPOOKS: THE GREATER GOOD is set for release on 8th May.

Hannah is many things, but what Hannah is not is a person who knows how to write a decent bio. A lover of all things cinema (shocker), an avid appreciator of puns, and an all-around self-plot-spoiling idiot. Known for not shutting up about Star Trek - or anything related to film, upon further deliberation.
