Ryan Reynolds and Ben Kingsley turn freaky Friday in to immortal Monday in the first official trailer for Tarsem Singh’s sci-fi thriller SELF/LESS.

Slipping away from the ravages of cancer, wealthy NYC business tycoon Damian Hill (Kingsley) decides to undergo a radical ‘fountain of youth’ medical procedure devised by an innovative (and psychotic) scientist known as Albright (Matthew Goode). The procedure, offering ‘humanity’s greatest minds more time to fill their potential’, uses revolutionary technology to transfers a person’s consciousness from one body to another.

Shortly after transference of his conscious into the body of a healthy, virile young man (Reynolds), Damian soon discovers that scientific progress is not without its sacrifice when his mind begins to be invaded with the memories and impulses of the conscious that previously occupied the body before him. All is not as it seems as Damian uncovers the mystery of the body’s origin and the organisation that will kill to protect their cause.

Written by Alex and David Pastor, SELF/LESS also stars Natalie Martinez (BROKEN CITY), Victor Garber, Michelle Dockery, and Derek Luke (EMPIRE).
