To celebrate the upcoming launch of Final Fantasy Type-o HD on Xbox One and Playstation 4, Square Enix have teamed up with the Prince Charles Cinema to offer free tickets for a big screen marathon.
The latest in the famed franchise, Final Fantasy Type-o HD is an action role-playing game following a group of 12 students propelled into a brutal war and battling to survive, forced to unite or die.
Featuring screenings of Katniss’ first outing THE HUNGER GAMES (1pm), Aussie action thriller TOMORROW, WHEN THE WAR BEGAN (3.30pm) and Robert Rodriguez’ sci-fi romp THE FACULTY (6pm), the day culminates with Kinji Fukasaku’s swansong, the classic BATTLE ROYALE (8pm).
The event takes place on Saturday 14th March at the Prince Charles Cinema (situated off of Leicester Square) and is hosted by Empire Online’s Editor-In-Chief James Dyer; a videogame enthusiast with more than a passing interest in films. Cinema-goers will also have the chance to take home exclusive Final Fantasy-themed goody bags on the day.
To attend this cinema extravaganza, simply email [email protected] and claim your free ticket, with free refreshments also available by tweeting #TYPEZERO. Note that ID is required on the day, due to the graphic nature of the films on show.
FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 HD is released on Friday 20th March, available on Xbox One and Playstation 4.
