CW Announce ‘Arrow’/’Flash’ Spin-Off

The CW have proven that they know how to make a compelling superhero television series, recent creations Arrow and The Flash have been well received both in the US and the UK. Both have been renewed for new seasons however the channel aren’t stopping with two superhero properties, oh no, as they are currently working on another DC universe show. The new venture will be overseen by Arrow creators Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg and will focus on not one but several DC characters.

The premise at the moment has the project described as a ‘superhero team-up show’ and will see characters already established in both Arrow and Flash thrown together. So far we know that Brandon Routh, Wentworth Miller, Caity Lotz and Victor Garber are on-board. It is thought that they will stick playing their pre-existing roles though the inclusion of Lotz is interesting given the fate of her incarnation of The Black Canary in Arrow. It also seems likely that key actors from the parent shows will make the occasional appearance just like Arrow cast members have been doing in The Flash.

It has also been teased that the series will feature three major DC characters who have never appeared on television before…
