Despite my overwhelming excitement for Marvel’s AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, and the fact I write for a film website, I’ve been avoiding most of the trailers, images and such for this second outing of the whole team but it doesn’t mean we can’t look at the new UK poster, right, right?!
Of course, AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and with the additional support of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill. This time the team have to reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction. They’ll also get to confront two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Pietro Maximoff, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and meet an old friend in a new form when Paul Bettany becomes Vision. YEAH!
Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, it opens in the UK on 23rd April. Here’s your poster and (Psst) if you want to spoil yourselves head to all our coverage here.
AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON opens in the UK on 23rd April and on 1st May in Canada and the USA.
